Become a Speaking Fellow

Students in their first or sophomore years are eligible to become Speaking Fellows.  Applicants are encouraged to sign up for Speaking Fellows workshops and one-on-one sessions before applying to develop an appreciation for what Speaking Fellows do.

To find out more about the application process, training course, and what it's like to be a Speaking Fellow, we invite all interested applicants to join us for an Info Session on Friday, February 28th, 10:30-11:30am in 421 Lehman Hall (RSVP: speaking@barnard.edu).

All applications must be delivered to 222 Barnard Hall by Tuesday, March 25th, at 5pm.  A list of applicants we wish to interview will be posted outside 216 Barnard Hall by Monday, March 31st at 5pm.

A list of accepted applicants will be posted outside 216 Barnard Hall on Wednesday, April 9th, at 5pm.  If your name is on the list, please initial next to your name in acknowledgment of the offer.
